Our beginners makeUp course, is ideal for those looking for an intro to makeup before committing to a longer course or for new & existing therapists who want to develop or refresh basic skills within makeup treatments when working within the salon / spa. The course will cover the basic application techniques to create a range of makeups including a basic bridal, evening & Prom makeup look. It is also an excellent course choice for those who have a personal interest in makeup, to consolidate their self-taught knowledge and skills and enable them to gain insurance to deliver makeup treatments to friends or family.

Course content:

– Health, safety & hygiene

– Contraindications

– Consultation techniques

– Creating a flawless finish to the skin

– Application of evening/prom make-up

– Identifying a variety of lip, face and eye shapes and how application of makeup should be adapted.

– Application of traditional bridal/day make-up including the use of the following products: concealer, foundation, loose powder, eyeshadow and pencil liner, mascara, blusher, lipstick and lip liner

– Aftercare Advice.

Course structure:
This course is structured over one day and runs from 10am – 4pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.45am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch.

Bridal Makeup

This exciting bridal makeup course covers the basics of makeup application including application of Airbrush foundation for a flawless, long lasting finish. Learn how to tailor these techniques to create the right make-up look for your bridal clients in particular, including the iconic smokey eye make-up for smouldering, dramatic eyes. Bridal make-up is a lucrative business with freelance artists earning anything upwards of £30-£50 an hour. This course will allow even a complete beginner to gain the skills necessary to obtain insurance and begin earning providing bridal, prom and special occasion make-up services.

The objective of the Liner Permanent Eyeliner fundamental course is to teach you how to achieve this look for your clients.

It is the perfect solution for clients who struggle to draw on their own eyeliner or who just want an expertly enhanced look 24/7.

With extremely subtle results, this is a great treatment choice for clients new to the world of Permanent Makeup and an easy up-sell for your existing brow or lip clients.
